Meet Amy M. Cann, Esq.
Attorney Cann combines legal knowledge, real-world business experience, and empathy to deliver practical counsel to businesses, nonprofits, employers, professionals, and individuals facing a wide range of legal challenges.
A determined advocate, Attorney Cann prevailed before the New Hampshire Supreme Court, reflecting her commitment to protecting her clients’ interests. Before founding Cann Law, P.C., she practiced at McLane Middleton, P.C., and owned a consulting firm serving businesses throughout New England.
Attorney Cann earned her J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law, along with an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University and professional certifications in data privacy and cybersecurity. Her blend of legal, business, human resources, and technology knowledge enables her to understand and address the complex issues facing modern organizations and individuals.
Attorney Cann also serves as co-chair of the New Hampshire Bar Association Solo/Small Practice Group and as a volunteer mediator for the New Hampshire Commission for Human Rights. She leads workshops at the University of New Hampshire and is a regular speaker for the National Business Institute (NBI). Known for her depth of knowledge and engaging presentation style, Attorney Cann translates complex legal issues into clear, practical guidance.
Outside of her legal practice, Amy enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, sports, traveling, reading, supporting local animal and wildlife rescues, and relaxing at the beach.
